Healthy Holiday Snack Ideas

One of the biggest stressors for individuals who are trying to eat healthy are the holidays. The Christmas season unlike other holidays tends to last forever when it comes to food. There are family dinners, Christmas parties, and so many sweets. We’ve compiled a list of healthy snacks and where to find the recipes so that you can snack healthy and still enjoy the holidays.

  1. Superfood Chocolate Bark– A great way to enjoy the sweet side of chocolate without the guilt. http://www.myfussyeater.com/superfood-chocolate-bark/

ONE LAST TIP: Do not skip meals!  A huge mistake people make during the holidays is when they starve themselves all day in anticipation for the big feast later that day. By doing this you are actually more likely to overeat eat come dinner time. You are better off to stick with your regular meals that way you will be less likely to stuff yourself on the dinner delights.

Enjoy the Holidays!
