Fall into Fitness

It’s that time of year again, pumpkin spice latte’s are back in season, the trees look beautiful in their new yellow sweaters and there is a hint of chill in the air. That said, it’s not time to hang up those outdoor runners and reside yourself to working out in the gym just yet. Here are a few thing you can do even with the seasons changing.

  1. Take advantage of the scenery, take out your hiking boats, or your bike and take in the fall colors.
  2. Join a class there are new fitness, dance and other extracurricular programs starting up this time of year, it’s never to late to get started.
  3. It’s TV premiere season, which could spell laziness, but who says you can’t do a workout at home while catching up on the latest episodes.
  4. Rake leaves, or do yard work. It’s a great way to work up a sweat, and you can jump in the leaf pile when you’re done.
